I have been so busy, in between taking my daughter to preschool, making bows, taking care of my 2 1/2 yr old, and my 3 month old, and doing everything else that a stay at home mommy does.

We are back!

Hi everyone!

We are back and busier than ever! 
I actually began taking orders once again a week or so ago, but in the middle of all of the adjusting and recovering, I haven't posted it here.

The delivery of Baby Anthia went smoothly, and thank God she was in my arms right away (unlike my other 2 children, who were rushed to the NICU right after they were born).  Holding her and taking in the moment was so wonderful, emotionally and spiritually, I felt as though we truly have been blessed.... 3 healthy babies in 4 years.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well, and I hope to hear from you all again soon!

A few more items...

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all doing well!!
I am trying to cope with the 100+ degree temps here in Chicago, barely making it out to get my mail from the mailbox.  The humidity is crazy!!

Anyway, other than that, I have only a few more days until our baby arrives.  Although we know its a girl and have already picked a name out, we won't be sharing it with anyone until she's here. Sorry! I did complete a few more headbands for her, and they are packed are ready to come with me to the hospital.  Below is one of my favorites.  Although I know its so plain, I felt that it had the right amount of elegance and sweetness for a newborn baby girl.

I wanted to share am order that I received from a dear friend.  She wanted me to make her daughter a custom personalized bow for her daughters first birthday party.  Her name is Danica and translates to 'Shooting Star'.  I though this came out so cute, and I wanted to share it with you all :)

As Promised....

As promised, I am sharing a photo for you all....
My daughter was BEGGING me this weekend to make her a Lalaloopsy bow, like one that I made earlier.  So, here it is...

What  makes this even more special to her, is that she literally picked everything out..... from the picture to use, and the colors of the ribbons to match.  So she is SUPER excited about it.  Everywhere we went this weekend, she was sure to show off her new bow! 
So with that said, back to work I go!

Just wanted to share.....

I was invited to attend a very good friend's daughters birthday party, and wasn't sure on what to buy her.  She is a beautful little girl, who LOVES Lalaloopsy.  So of course, My two toddlers and I packed in the car and went to the local toy store to pick up something 'Lalaloopsy'.  Once we checked out and got back in the car, it dawned on me.... why not make her a matching bow??  DUH!  So, I did.  I though I would share it with you all....

So... there it is.  My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves it so much. she keeps asking me to make her one too.  So, I am in the process.  I will post those pics as soon as I am finished.

Getting a little nervous :)

Hi!! So.... time is passing faster than I would like, Baby #3 will be here in a week or so, and I am working hard to get all of the orders coming, in completed and shipped.  As I mentioned on Facebook and Twitter, the last day to place an order on my website is July3.  I will be 'reopening' after baby and I arrive home.  I will let everyone know exactly when that will be, and I dont anticipate it being more than a few days to a week.

I wanted to thank EVERYONE for their well wishes on our little baby.  We can't wait for her arrival, and as you can imagine, the amount of bows and headbands this little girl already has for her hair are more than I have room for.  I guess I find it a bit theraputicduring the many sleepless nights to make bows for her.  My husband thinks I am crazy!

Ok, its been a little while... i know...
I have been super busy getting ready for baby 3, only a few weeks to go!  That, filling orders, designing new ribbons, and taking care of my family...........lets just say that mommy has no time to herself :)  But, as most of you understand, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!

I have been working on some custom orders, and I wanted to share a few of the items with you.  A little girl Marija celebrated her birthday, and she is IN LOVE with the Disney Princesses, especially Snow White.  Her mom came to me asking if there was something I could put together for her daughter.  Below are the end results.  (these are Disney Princess inspired bows).

Busy Busy!

Hi Everyone!
After an extremely busy weekend, full of birthday parties, bow making and sending orders out, I finally caught a break today!  So what did I do???? Well, I baked with my daughter, did a TON of laundry, and washed the rest of stuff I need for Baby #3.  I know, it doesn't sound like a break, does it??

So what's new exciting in the world of Bowsie Baby Boutique?  Well, there are some exciting things happening over here, I just can't mention them yet.  :)  In the meantime, I can mention that our July 4th items have been added to our website, and although it is a small collection, I think that they are so cute!!

Remember, we do personalization of bows, and custom orders! Tea Party Favors!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!  I know we did! The temperatures here in Chicago were at record highs.... mid 90's, and my children, well, they LOVED it! 

I wanted to share with you all a custom personalized bow request we received, and well, of course we delivered!  It was for an 11 guest tea party for a 6 year old little girl and her friends.  We were asked to put together something that the girls can all wear more than the one time, and add a bit of 'bling' as well.

What an Honor! Thank you Trueheart Events for Including us in this Amazing Event!

Hi Everyone,

We are so excited to announce that we have been asked to be a part of the Trueheart Events’ 1st Annual ‘The Wonderland Suite’ to benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  This Star studded even will include- Kris Allen, Rachael Leigh Cook, Samantha Harris, Debbie Gibson, Justin Willman, Casey Abrams, Kellie Martin, Sam Page and Edwin Hodge are Among the Stars.

As you all know, we are expecting our third child, and of course, as luck has it, this event is going to take place right before the baby is due to arrive,  So naturally, we are not able to attend.

However, we did offer our best to the wonderful event planner, Amy Malin, and her group, and also sent a gift basket valued at $150.00 of goodies for their silent auction.

My husband and I are big believers in the staff that works the children's hospitals and NICU's across the globe.  Our son (who is now 2) was born premature and spent quite a bit of time in the NICU of a local hospital here in Chicago.  The tired less efforts that these individuals put into there work is almost angelic.  Therefore, when we were approached to offer support, we immediately said yes.

I have to say that it feels so wonderful to be part of this type of fundraiser. Just look at all of the other amazing talents and companies involved.  It is so surreal to see our company logo next to, or on the same page as large companies, and well-known celebrities. 


Again, we want send a big THANK YOU to Trueheart Events and especially Amy Malin, and wish them the best on the this event!!

Hi Everyone!

Well, it has been a LONG weekend over here, in between getting new baby items ready and clean (although I still have about 10 weeks to go), filling orders, and doing construction on both of our houses (one is rental).  I have to say, even though I am exhausted, it is well worth it!

We received a request yesterday for an amazing order, and I can't wait to share the final product with all of you.  I have been working non stop since yesterday on this one, and I am anticipating a beautiful end result.

In case you all missed it, we did a launch of our NEW CUSTOM BOWS order section on our website.  Please visit it and let us know what you think.  Is it easy to use?  We worked so hard on getting it as user friendly as we could, and offering options that would help us get the orders started.  So far we have had an abundance of orders come in, from sports teams, to happy birthday bows, to favorite characters (like Minnie Mouse) requested.  Also, because we can match just about any pattern, we have had quite a few of  designer 'inspired' pattern requests.

Yay! We finally did it!!

First, I am so sorry for not posting!  I have been so busy!  Thats not a complaint, thats a good thing :)

Ok, so we have been trying to find a way to allow our wonderful customers to order their custom print bows online.  A lot of people still don't know that we really do this! Thanks to many hours of dedicated work, we finally figured it out!  Now, instead of sending us an email (the old way), we simply have the customer place the order online and fill in the basic information of the order, and then we contact the customer to go through details and confirm their requests.

So......

Okay, so because this blog is fairly new, I am testing out some new looks.  I feel like the more simple, the better. I am going to stick with this one for now, and slowly I will add to it. 

Chicago has been blessed with such gorgeous weather, and it has lasted now for some time.  It just makes me want to plant our vegetable garden and flowers around our house.  I have to keep reminding myself that its only mid March :)

Spring!!

Hi everyone!

What a beautiful day in Chicago!! 80 degrees yesterday, and in the mid 70's today.  Not bad for mid March!

We are in Spring mode here, and so are our bows!  I just filled a client custom order for a bright pink and bright yellow bow to match her twin daughters easter dresses.  I had so much fun making these, and I hope that she likes the ending result.

I had an idea....

Okay, so I have been in this crazy Spring mode (must be the pregnancy) and I started to put together some little hair clips for my daughter.  Also, I received a shipment of some new ribbons, so of course I had to stay up till the wee hours of the morning to make some new bows for Spring and Easter.  There will be more to come.

Hi!  just checking in to give everyone a few updates.  To begin with, our lucky winner last week was Karen Kalinowski! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We kept extremely busy here, our little business is continuing to grow, as orders continue to come in regularly. I also have been working on getting all of our Spring 2012 items completed and photographed so we can put them up on our website. Happy New Year!

Hello Everyone!I am starting the New Year with a new blog. I have to
admit, I am quite busy here at home, and I am going to make sure that I post on
here regularly, for updates and general information. I hope you all enjoy
reading my blog (once it get remotely interesting).
Whats in store for Bowsie Baby in 2012? Well, to start off with, while
raising two wonderful toddlers and running my business, we are expecting our
newest addition to our family, due mid July. Am I ready for this? Hmmm, I’m not
sure. Anyone have any advice on raising 3 children under the age of 4? Please
